One-time charges

A one-time charge is a catalog item with a single price. Add it to a subscription when you need to bill an item once rather than on a repeating schedule—for example, an activation charge, installation, or a one-off service.

Create a charge

  1. Open One Time Charges and select Add new.
  2. Enter a Charge name and Charge code. Both are required and must be 2–50 characters.
  3. Add an optional Description. If supplied, it must be 2–250 characters.
  4. Enter a non-negative Price.
  5. Save the charge.

Use a stable, meaningful code. It is the product identifier carried into subscription and invoice-related billing data.

Add it to a subscription

Open the customer's subscription create or edit screen and select the charge from the One-time charges list. The application uses the configured price when it prepares the subscription's billing work.

Notes

  • A one-time charge is not a recurring billing period; it has one catalog price.
  • It has an active or archived status in the domain model. The current admin screen is primarily for creating and selecting charges, so confirm a charge is appropriate before offering it to customers.
  • Product prices use the tenant's default currency.
